About
Audio Engineer, Music Producer and Writer
I’m Kahia, an audio engineer, music producer and writer. Music has long been my passion, which is why I decided to do a 3-year Bachelor of Audio Production course at SIT Invercargill, New Zealand. I also had the opportunity to study for 8 weeks at SAE Institute in Byron Bay, Australia, and intern for 2 weeks under independent producer edyonthebeat at Parachute Studios in Auckland.
During my final year of studies, I created my debut album, High Tide, Low Tide, an Indie Folk project with electronica influences. This album explores the human psyche, likening emotions and thoughts to the ever-changing tides, aiming to inspire listeners to find balance and peace amidst life’s chaos.
Currently, I am working on various creative projects based out of Switzerland, spending time writing, producing and recording.
